BIRTH OF THE BRAND

The business was founded in 1881 by the Cerruti family in Biella, a textile milling town near Milan and Turino. Situated in the Piedmont Region the locals claim that the purity of their water is better for washing and dyeing wool than anywhere else. One thing that is certain is that the water enabled the brand to succeed again and again, not only with its textile industry but also with the fashion creations for men and women, which brought the brand international recognition.

Today the qualities and values of the brand can be appreciated through the range of Cerruti 1881 accessories. The collection is based on pure, contemporary lines, embracing modern materials whether used raw, molded or machined, as a true reflection of Cerruti authenticity.
